Band Heater
Resistance wire grade NiCr 80:20 is used as windings to provide maximum watt density. Specially selected mica grade & thickness is used to insulate windings providing excellent thermal conductivity & dielectric strength. Upon request, the mica band heaters may be added with heat insulation covers in various sheathing materials. Sheathing material such as stainless steel, brass, or mild steel are used depending upon applications which provides the best combination of physical strength, high emissivity & good thermal conductivity to heat cylindrical parts, good for sheath temperature up to 400°C.
Applications:
- Plastics Processing Machinery
- Plastic Injection Molding
- Plastic Blow Molding
- Extruders
- Holding Tanks
- Drums
- Rubber Processing Machinery

Bobbin Heater
Resistance wire grade NiCr 80:20 coil is evenly wound over the bobbin ceramic supporting core and returned to the terminals at a single end. The entire bobbin heater is inserted into a stainless steel (sheating) pipe that is mounted onto the tank/container. With this method, the heater is safely isolated from the material inside the tank by the stainless steel pipe. Thus, it improves the lifespan of the heater significantly.Besides, it also provides the convenience of replacing the heater without having to drain out material from the tank. However, since the heater is not in contact with the material, heat conduction is slower and the wattage density is also lower compared to an immersion heater that is directly in contact with the material.
Applications:
- Water Heating in the Food Processing Industry, Detergent Processing, Shampoo Processing, etc.
- Oil Heating such as BioDiesel Processing, Cooking Oil Processing, and Bitumen / Asphalt Heating, etc.
- Chemical Heating
- Extruder Mold
Cartridge Heater
Resistance wire grade NiCr 80:20 is evenly wound over a supporting core which is centrally located in a SS304 tube and the inner space is filled with specially selected high purity magnesium oxide. This assembled unit is then highly compressed, converting the core, powder and conductor into a homogenous mass. The bottom end of the heater is welded with a disc washer to prevent any contamination or moisture. The cartridge heater is finally grinded down to the exact requested diameter.
Applications:
- Plastic Extruders Molds & Dies
- Hot Runner Molds
- Plastic Injection Molding
- Packaging Machines
- Constant Heat Sealer/Cutter
- Food Processing
- Medical Equipment
- Hot Stamping

Ceramic Heater
Despite of the initial high investment, there are several long term benefits of the ceramic heaters. Ceramic heaters are very flexible and can be made into large diameter in one-piece construction for easy installation compared to two-piece construction in some less flexible heaters. With the ceramic insulation, the heater conserve heat and it saves operating wattage by 25%, essentially saving energy cost by 25%. Besides, the heat distribution is also more uniform using ceramic heaters. Ceramic heaters can be built to a higher watt density compared to normal mica heaters.
Applications:
- Plastics Processing MachineryPlastic
- Injection Molding
- Plastic Blow Molding
- Extruders
- Holding Tanks
- Drums
- Rubber Processing Machinery
- Packaging Machinery

Coil Heater
Coil heaters are an advance concept of thermal engineering which has a construction similar to high watt density cartridge heaters. These heaters are also known as high performance tubular heaters or cable heaters. While tubular heaters are double ended with terminations, coil heater's single end termination is especially useful where space available for heating is limited. The basic construction of these heaters consist of compacted MgO, high temperature resistance wire and stainless steel tube. Coil heaters may be with built-in with J or K type
Applications:
- Plastic Injection MoldingHot Runner
- Manifolds & Nozzles
- Die Cast Nozzles
- Packaging Machinery

Infrapara Heater
Infrapara® heaters consists of black body ceramic that emits far infrared wavelength in the infrared spectrum. This range of infrared wavelength is most well absorbed by high molecular compound i.e. polymers such as paint, plastic, printing ink, synthetic resin, fiber, etc. The good energy absorption means that this type of heater is more effective and hence more economical in term of energy saving. The surface temperature of the heater ranges from 300oC to over 700oC depending on its wattage. The Infrapara® heaters have long been used in the industry for various kinds of heating and drying applications.

Mica Strip Heater
Mica insulated strip heaters are economical heat sources, suitable for providing heat to flat surfaces. Resistance wire grade NiCr 80:20 is used as windings to provide maximum watt density. Specially selected mica grade & thickness is used to insulate windings providing excellent thermal conductivity & dielectric strength. Upon request, the mica strip/plate heaters may be added with heat insulation covers in various sheathing materials. Mica strip heaters are available in many electrical termination styles, protection and can accommodate holes and cutouts.
Applications:
- Plastics Processing Machinery
- Plastic Seal & Cut Machinery
- Plastic Extruders
- Packaging Machinery
- Extrusion Dies
- Food Processing / Warming Equipment

Tubular / Fin / Immersion Heater
Tubular heaters can be supplied in either stainless steel or incoloy. The helical winding of heating element is made of a high temperature resistant NiCr alloy and the insulation consists of superior grade of magnesium oxide (MgO). As the heaters are swaged, they have excellent electrical insulation and a high heat transfer even at high sheath temperature. In order to prevent the heater from moisture the connection ends are sealed with sealing components. Tubular heaters heaters may be used for heating up various materials such as air, water, chemicals and solids. However, construction and watt density of the heater differs significantly for heating one material to another.
Applications:
- Air Heating such as Air Duct, Oven, & Food Processing Equipment
- Liquid Heating such as Water Tank, Oil Tank & Other Chemicals Containers
- Solid Heating such as Hot Runner Manifold in Plastic Injection Molding
